If you and/or those you know are near Atlanta, Georgia, between March 24th and April 27th, you can join Jon Kolkin for two events at Emory University.
The first is part of Emory's ongoing series, Creativity Conversations.
These dialogues are intended to bring creative thinkers into a
conversation with great Emory scholars. I am honored to be sitting down
with Tara Doyle, director of the Tibetan Studies Program, for a
conversation centered around the creative process of seeking wisdom and
balance within our lives, using my artwork as a backdrop for the
discussion. Tara is an astute scholar who has had the added benefit of
working closely with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, also a member of the
Emory faculty. Our conversation will take place on Tuesday, March 25,
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Michael Carlos Museum.
You are also invited to a solo exhibition of Seeking Wisdom, March 24 - April 27, in the Chace Gallery at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts.
