This issue will spotlight the most compelling projects that explore and celebrate shapes in photography. Shapes are everywhere—look around and observe the points, lines, patterns, and silhouettes that form our world. From squares and circles to triangles and hexagons, the choice is yours!
Capture the essence of shapes through light, texture, and shadow, and let your creativity shine.
Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, "The rhythm of surfaces, lines, and values is for me the essence of photography; composition should be a constant of preoccupation... an organic coordination of visual elements."
We invite photographers to submit their images, preferably in series, where shapes not only influence the photos but also stand as the primary subject. Whether your work falls under architecture, portrait, landscape, nude, street, or any other genre—classic or experimental—we want to see your best and most intriguing photography from around the globe. Winners will receive cash awards totaling $1,000, have their work printed in AAP Magazine #42, and gain extensive press coverage.
