Photo London

Photo London is a unique photography event. It will feature a major international photography fair of over 70 exhibitors, including the world’s leading photography galleries and publishers, alongside an innovative public programme supported by the LUMA Foundation.

Photo London will showcase the broad range of photographic practice, from vintage to contemporary, in diverse and exciting scenarios, through a series of exhibitions, installations and live events in and around Somerset House.

Exhibitions will include Beneath the Surface from the V&A collection, Sebastião Salgado’s Genesis in Platinum and Kaveh Golestan’s Prostitute, while a specially commissioned installation by Rut Blees Luxemburg will fill the Courtyard.

Talks, music sessions and book signings around the fair will change the way you look at photography.

Paris: Fotofever

Fotofever is back in paris for its third edition, the photographic fever strikes again!

 

The photographic fever is here for the fifth time!
The Carrousel du Louvre welcomes the international photography fair from the 14th
to the 16th of November, 2014.
An inimitable Parisian event during the Mois de la Photo, it presents the opportunity
to capture a young, creative generation, soaring in popularity amongst collectors.
Fotofever’s mission: to promote the discovery, encouragement and development
of artists through the acquisition of their works.
The aim: to encourage young generations, passionate about photography – a medium
of communication par excellence – to inspire new collectors and to share the
collector’s fever.


Catch the fever, collect photography!
The temperature rises: For fotofever’s 2014 edition, a selection of over 100
international galleries – compared to only 60 last year – will take the limelight.
This year, the continually evolving fair has appointed a committee to approve the
quality of selected galleries: it is comprised of l’Association des Galeries d’art
Paris – represented by its co-president Baudoin Lebon – and Belgian collector
Galila Barzilaï Hollander. Notable Chinese and Japanese galleries partaking in
the event include 798 Photo, Emon Photo and Zen photo, whilst Northern
Europe is represented by the presence of Galerie Hiltawsky and In The Gallery.
Over half of the galleries participating in the fair specialise in photography.

PARIS PHOTO 2014

Paris Photo is the premier international art fair for works in the photographic medium. The Fair will be held in Paris' historical Grand Palais from the 13th to the 16th of November, 2014 and will host 169 galleries and art book dealers.

Renowned for its innovative and high-level programming, Paris Photo is a key event for collectors and art world professionals, as well as photography enthusiasts. Extensive programming includes special exhibitions for the following sectors:

- The "Private Collection" exhibition introduces visitors to the pioneering role played by private collectors who, driven by their own passion and perseverance, gathers masterpieces and develop new approaches.

- The "Recent Acquisitions" exhibition presents the new photography collections from international institutions.

- "Open Book" honors the role of the photo book in the history of the medium.

In partnership with the Aperture Foundation, Paris Photo has established the Paris PhotoBook Awards, celebrating the ever evolving role of the photobook in the narrative of photography. Prize categories include: First Photobook, Photobook of the Year, and Catalogue of the Year.

The Paris Photo Platform brings together key figures in the international art community for a cycle of conversations, interviews, debates and performances organized by guest curators.

The Fair is enriched by the support and participation of our partners, such as the Giorgio Armani Acqua exhibition program; selected works from JPMorgan Chase Art Collection; presentations from BMW Art and Culture and Leica; and SFR Jeunes Talents.
